Mango Optic is a family-owned boutique optical in Boca Raton founded by Gisele and Jaime Crespo with a simple mission: provide advanced digital eye exams, precision lenses, and designer eyewear with truly personalized care.
Gisele Crespo, Licensed Optician & Owner
Gisele’s passion is simple: helping people see better so they can enjoy life to the fullest.
She is a Florida-licensed optician and board-certified contact lens fitter with a strong clinical foundation and a deep commitment to patient care. Gisele earned her Associate Degree in Opticianry from the Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology in Boston, where she received The Philip C. Meuse Memorial Award from the Opticians Association of Massachusetts for outstanding scholastic achievement, citizenship, and service.
She has remained active in state and national opticianry associations and has been featured in The Boston Globe and on Channel 7’s Urban Update in Boston, where she highlighted the value and impact of the opticianry profession.
At Mango Optic, Gisele combines precision, experience, and genuine warmth to ensure every patient receives a personalized fitting and care that never feels rushed.

Jaime Crespo, Co-Owner, Digital Story-Teller
Jaime is an award-winning communications and marketing professional with a background in journalism and healthcare marketing. A former news reporter, he has worked with major hospitals, universities, and nonprofit organizations in Boston, helping raise awareness about health issues affecting diverse communities.
While serving as Director of Communications at Franklin Cummings Tech in Boston, Jaime helped promote its nationally recognized opticianry program, deepening his appreciation for the profession and its impact on people’s lives.
At Mango Optic, Jaime leads brand strategy, storytelling, and community outreach, ensuring patients not only receive exceptional care but also clear, trusted information about their vision health. He is also a founding member and volunteer with the Good Vision Alliance, supporting efforts to provide eyewear to children and families who would otherwise go without.
